At this time, none of our animals are ready to leave the sanctuary but many are still looking for a virtual adopter to call their own! As animals become available for adoption they will be listed here.
When you virtually adopt one of our rescued farm animals, your support goes directly towards their daily care from nutritious food and cozy bedding to veterinary care and everything in between. Virtual adoption is a very beautiful way to make a difference in an animals life, no matter where you live. You'll receive updates and photos of your adopted animal. Adopt from anywhere. Love from anywhere.

Meet Gertie, our brave draft mare who came into our lives in November 2024 during our very first Kentucky horse auction. With over 300 horses running through the sale, we walked row after row of sad, tired faces each one needing help. At first, Gertie didn’t stand out. She was young, well-fed, and quietly keeping to herself. But then we saw it… her eye. It was bleeding, swollen, and oozing pus. We knew instantly she needed immediate veterinary attention and that we needed to save her.
Kill buyers were already circling her, and we knew losing her wasn’t an option. We bid, we fought, and we brought Gertie home. The very first thing we did was rush her to our vet. Her eye was too far gone, but removing it gave her something far more important: a pain-free life she had been denied for far too long.
Gertie also shows signs of an old injury in her front leg, leaving her with a small limp, but her working days are forever behind her. From here on out, she gets to simply be a horse safe, comfortable, and loved.
Today, we’re putting Gertie up for virtual adoption to help cover her daily feed, routine vet care, and hoof care. Your support ensures this gentle one-eyed draft girl continues living the peaceful, protected life she fought so hard to reach.

Pepper came to us February 2025 after her home was destroyed in a fire, leaving her with nowhere to go. When she arrived, she was overweight, blind, and had never met another pig before scared and unsure of her new world.
Since then, Pepper has made an incredible transformation. She’s lost weight, grown healthier by the day, and learned that friends come in all shapes and sizes. This summer, she gave us quite a scare when she suddenly lost the ability to walk. Her back legs stopped working, and even our vet team didn’t have answers. But Pepper is a fighter! After starting PEMF treatments, she amazed us all by walking again.
Pepper continues to inspire us with her resilience and strength every day. If her story touched your heart, please consider virtually adopting Pepper. Your support helps provide her daily care, feed, and medical needs while she lives her best life here at the sanctuary.

Meet Truffles, our only production-sized pig and one of the biggest hearts at the rescue. Truffles came to us after surviving an unthinkable trauma—her previous family slaughtered her brother right in front of her, and in her fear and heartbreak she was labeled “crazy” and “aggressive.” We were warned she was dangerous, but the truth was far different. She wasn’t mean… she was terrified.
Today, Truffles lives the good life she always deserved. She is loved, respected, and understood. She’s the biggest puppy dog you’ll ever meet she adores belly rubs, gentle pets, and quiet moments with her best friend Pinto, our sweet mini pig. The two can often be found eating side-by-side or snuggled up for naps.
We are so grateful we were able to save Truffles and give her a life filled with safety and compassion. And now, we’re excited to offer her up for virtual adoption, helping ensure she continues receiving all the love, care, and comfort she has fought so hard for.
